Carroll Dragon Band Bistro – A night of free entertainment for the whole family!!! $12 for Dinner – Saturday, February 04, 2017 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM – This is the largest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go to the Carroll Band. The Bistro is a fun and entertaining family and friend event. It’s a casual Italian dinner with music performed by Carroll Band students. Performances include student ensembles, the three Carroll Jazz Bands, and the premiere community performance of Indoor Percussion’s FROM DUST 2017 competition show.. Southlake Kids Interested in Leadership (S.K.I.L.) – Monday, February 13, 2017 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Department of Public Safety (DPS) Headquarters – (SKIL) is a program created in partnership between the City, the Carroll Independent School District and the Chamber of Commerce. The SKIL Program seeks to facilitate opportunities for advanced engagement by the city’s youth whereby they become more than informants and contributors but are valued as collaborators and decision-makers.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – CPR – February 18, 2017, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ 600 State Street – The Southlake Fire Department is a certified American Heart Association training site and teaches classes to the public. The department uses the AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED certification course. The course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
