Real estate activity for the Dallas/Fort Worth area has been hot hot hot for the past 4 years! Home prices are rising all over the metroplex as noted here,  Averages are great, but it’s ideal to focus on specific communities.

Southlake Texas Real Estate Activity For March 2016 vs. March 2015

28 homes sold in March 2016 in Southlake, Texas.  This is 14 fewer homes than the 42 homes that closed in March 2015.

  • The average sale price for the homes that closed in March 2015 was $782,319.
  • The average sale price for the homes that closed in March 2016 was $737,606.
  • The average market time (aka Days on Market) for the homes that closed in March 2015 was 105 days.
  • The average market time (aka Days on Market) for the homes that closed in March 2016 was 68 days.
  • The total amount of volume for the homes that closed in March 2015 was $32,857,398.
  • The total amount of volume for the homes that closed in March 2016 was $20,652,968.

 

Homes Under Contract For March 2016

There were a total of 91 homes under contract or sale pending through March 31st, 2016.  The average market time for these homes was 48 days.  The average list price for the homes under contract was $881,715.
